How to copy, scan and equipment available.

Rules for the reproduction of the items

Photocopies and prints are allowed for personal use and within the maximum limit of 15% of each volume or periodical issue (Copyright Law).

The use of cameras, smartphones and tablets is permitted.

Portable or pen scanners, flash or other portable light sources, tripods, stands and other equipments are not permitted.

In the library it is possible to reproduce bibliographical items for study and research for a fair use.

The photoduplication of the items requires careful handling to prevent damage.

Materials not available for reproduction or subject to authorisation

Not available for reproduction:

  • musical scores and sheet music
  • audiovisuals

Subject to authorisation:

  • manuscripts
  • prints and drawings
  • old printed works, rare or of unique bibliographical value, large size, in a precarious state of conservation or that may be damaged from the reproduction
